A group led by hotelier Harlan Crow that is opposed to the construction of a city-owned Convention Center hotel has dropped a lawsuit against the city of Dallas that was aimed at stopping the project.
Michael Jung, lead attorney for Citizens Against a Taxpayer-Owned Hotel, filed notice in court Wednesday that the group is withdrawing the suit.
The group was unsuccessful in an attempt to get a temporary restraining order that would have prevented the city from taking steps toward the hotel’s construction.
